Participants on the Congresswoman’s teletownhall had a lot of questions on how, when and where to get the vaccine. Nearly 90,000 people joined the forum, utilizing both English and Spanish participation options and submitting more than 150 questions.
Dallas Independent School District had over 280 questions submitted by participants during the hour-long call, and they collected 256 emails between their English and Spanish participants. All question screening and data collection was managed by Telephone Town Hall Meeting staff, and Q&A was moderated by a TTHM event producer.
The call, managed by Telephone Town Hall Meeting (TTHM), provided a significant opportunity for the City of Gainesville to allow for the Florida Department of Health in Alachua County and for a senior executive with Health Affairs at the University of Florida to address COVID-19 vaccine distribution. With tens of thousands of people joining the call and over 100 questions submitted by audience members, the forum was a resounding success in educating and updating residents virtually.
